Rick Wright’s Triumph Beat One Knoxville
Rick Wright’s Greenville Triumph enjoyed a 2-0 win away to One Knoxville Sporting Club in the USL League One yesterday [June 22].
Goals from Leo Castro in the 48th minute and Lyam MacKinnon in the 93rd handed Greenville their seventh league win of the season.
The visiting side, who are top of the table with 22 points from 11 games, had two players sent off in the second half.
A former Saltus Grammar School student, Wright made appearances for the Bermuda and United States national teams.
He was appointed head coach of Greenville at the start of the season, having served as assistant coach for several years.
Greenville are at home to Lexington Sporting Club in the Jägermeister Cup on Saturday [June 29].
