Health Council Reminder To Submit Feedback
The Bermuda Health Council reminds local health businesses and health professionals that the deadline to submit written feedback on the proposed regulations for high-risk health technology and health service provider licensing is 5th September.
A spokesperson said, “Key documents were emailed on the 13th and 16th August to health businesses and professional statutory bodies and are also available on the Health Council social media pages.
“Licensing is crucial for ensuring that Bermuda’s health entities meet industry standards and high-risk health technologies ensures that the devices and equipment used in our healthcare settings are safe, effective, and of the highest quality. Similar regulations exist in countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia thereby setting a global benchmark.
“The Health Council is committed to initiatives to guarantee the quality, safety, and efficacy of services and products used by our population.
