Lockton Re Appoints Kristopher Lynn
Lockton Re announced that Kristopher Lynn joined as a Senior Broker and Practice Leader for Agriculture, bringing nearly 20 years of industry experience to their Bermuda office.
A spokesperson said, “Lockton Re, the reinsurance business of the world’s largest privately held independent insurance broker, is pleased to announce that Kristopher Lynn has joined Lockton Re as a Senior Broker and Practice Leader for Agriculture. Kristopher will be based in Lockton Re’s growing Bermuda office working with colleagues and clients globally.”
Commenting on the appointment, Nick Durant, CEO North America, Lockton Re, said, “We are delighted to be welcoming Kris to the team as we launch this new global Agriculture Practice. We always wanted to build capability for our clients and partners in this area but needed to find the right talent and Kris is a great fit with regard to experience and expertise as well as that all important cultural fit.”
The spokesperson said, “Lynn joins from Terra Underwriting Management and previous to that he was President of AgriSompo, Sompo’s agriculture division, in Bermuda which he joined in 2014. He has nearly 20 years of industry experience having also spent time at Tokio Millenium Re and ACE, in addition to his board roles at Gestione Rischi Agricoli Integrati and A&A S.r.l. Lynn brings a great perspective from different parts of re/insurance and from across the globe.”
