Ball Hockey: Sinky Bay Sea Turtles Win
The Bermuda inline ball hockey playoffs opened with a high-scoring affair at the PCC Hockey Rink, as the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles took a 1-0 series lead over the North Rock Beacons.
The Sea Turtles emerged victorious 13-7 in a game that featured a combined 20 goals. Chris Merritt and Tom Duggan led the offensive charge for the Sea Turtles, each netting four goals. Mathieu Desjardins contributed two goals, while Max Bovin, Rob Osborne, and Kevin Mason chipped in with one goal apiece.
For the Beacons, Ryan Wilson notched four goals, Josh Wilson added a pair, and Ryan Bates scored once.
