Dickinson Finishes 2nd In Solo Welsh Sailing
Stephen Dickinson participated in the prestigious 2024 Solo Welsh sailing championships and the NCSA super series event, held at Tata Steel Sailing Club.
Dickinson delivered an impressive performance, securing second place overall with a net score of 11 points.
Over the course of two days, participants faced winds that varied in direction and strength. Despite these challenging conditions, five races were successfully completed.
The second day began with a total absence of wind, but after an early lunch, favorable conditions emerged from the southeast, allowing the final two races to proceed.
During the last race, a windward mark move became necessary. Dickinson clinched victory in the first race and concluded the day with a strong second-place finish in the final race.
