Annual 8K Turkey Trot Set For Dec 1
The Annual 8K Turkey Trot will be held on December 1st, with the event “combining fitness, fun, and community giving.”

This year’s event, taking place on Sunday, December 1, 2024, promises to be more exciting and impactful than ever, combining fitness, fun, and community giving.
Race Details
“The event kicks off at Northshore Medical Center with two start times: 8:00 AM for walkers and 8:30 AM for runners. Categories include Open [18-39], Masters [40-49], Seniors [50-59], and Veterans [60+], with the minimum running age set at 12. New this year, youth participants aged 12-17 will also be eligible for prizes, encouraging young runners to get involved.

Community Impact
“The Turkey Trot isn’t just about running – it’s about giving back. Northshore Medical will be on-site offering free health checks, empowering participants to take charge of their well-being. In addition, non-perishable food donations will be collected to support local community feeding initiatives, helping to address Bermuda’s food insecurity challenges. Participants, volunteers, and spectators are all encouraged to bring canned goods or non-perishables to contribute.
