Hockey: Hurricanes Defeat Dark & Stormies
The Hurricanes opened the Bermuda field hockey season with a decisive 5-0 victory over the Dark & Stormies at the National Sports Center.
Georgia Harris scored the first goal for the Hurricanes in the 19th minute. Makie De Sousa added another goal six minutes later to give the Hurricanes a 2-0 lead at halftime.
De Sousa completed the hat trick with two goals in the 43rd and 44th minutes of the second half. Joanna Heaney added a final goal to secure the 5-0 win for the Hurricanes.
