Video: Montgomery Scores Twice For Knights
Blake Montgomery scored two goals and had an assist in London Knights’ 5-1 win at home to the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League [OHL] yesterday [January 10].
Montgomery, who joined the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement in November, has already reached 30 points for the season, scoring 15 goals in 22 matches.
He scored his side’s first two goals against the Spitfires and created their fifth for Denver Barkey.
The forward, who was drafted by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Ottawa Senators in June, spent the past two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
The Knights, who are top of the Western Conference, are away to Owen Sound Attack today.
