The Bermuda cricket team booked their place in the Regional Final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Sub-Regional Qualifier after completing an unbeaten campaign.

Bermuda secured top spot in the standings with a 146-run victory over Brazil at the North Field, National Sports Centre, today [June 27], having also defeated Belize and Panama earlier in the tournament.

They now progress to the Regional Final, where they will continue their bid to qualify for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat against Brazil, with Onias Bascome setting the tone by striking the first ball of the innings for six.

Bascome and Delray Rawlins shared an opening stand of 53 before Bascome was bowled for 17 by a full delivery from Luiz Moras.
