“Since its inception in 1976, The Menuhin Foundation has built an extensive legacy. Over the past 48 years, our Primary School Programme has had a significant impact on thousands of students and has played a crucial role in fostering a diverse and vibrant artistic community in Bermuda. This programme is a cornerstone of The Menuhin Foundation’s mission, aiming to provide all Bermudian children with access to the unique social, emotional, and intellectual benefits of learning to play a string instrument.

“The programme’s success is made possible by the generous financial support of our donors, including the Bermuda Government, various Foundations, the corporate community, and individuals. We would also like to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our dedicated teachers, parent volunteers, and schoolteachers/educators, who play a crucial role in making this programme a success.

“The Menuhin Foundation also provides individualized lessons for those interested in learning to play the violin, viola, or cello. Their students include individuals from diverse age groups, ranging from four-year-olds to adults. We also have an Adult Orchestra that meets on Saturday afternoons, many of whom were past students of The Menuhin Foundation.
