Robin Horsfield Wins Ski Race In Ontario
Robin Horsfield, one of the island’s top cyclists, showcased his athletic versatility by winning a 7.5km ski competition at the 2025 Mono Nordic Race in Ontario.
A spokesperson said, “Robin Horsfield, Bermuda’s highest internationally ranked male cyclist, came off of his mountain bike and donned a set of cross country skis in Orangeville, Ontario. Competing in the Open Male category, Horsfield ‘skated’ 7.5 kms in the skate ski competition.
“Horsfield is pictured atop the podium with two University of Waterloo athletes who took second and third place. Despite his surprise win Horsfield remains focused on the mountain bike and will be heading to Europe shortly to prepare, on two wheels, for his upcoming mountain bike campaign which will see him cross Canada multiple times as he seeks to improve upon his 7th place Canadian national ranking from 2024. He is Ontario’s current mountain bike champion and Bermuda’s National Mountain Bike Champion.”
