2nd Annual Bermy Barkus On February 15
Bermy Barkus will host a Mardi Gras-inspired dog costume parade on Saturday [Feb 15] from 4.00pm to 6.00pm at The Botanist in the Botanical Gardens.
A spokesperson said, “Get ready, Bermuda! Bermy Barkus returns with a Mardi Gras-inspired dog costume parade on Saturday from 4-6pm at The Botanist in the Botanical Gardens.
“His Excellency, Governor Andrew Murdoch, will serve as a special guest judge, selecting this year’s King or Queen of Barkus from the best-dressed pups who will receive a $50 gift card to Boats ‘n Barks.
“The event will be hosted by PadsPass, a digital pet passport that helps pet owners manage identification, medical records, and travel requirements in one secure platform. If your goal is to jet-set with a furry friend or if you simply want to ensure their medical history is secure and always accessible, PadsPass can help.
“Bermy Barkus had a successful debut in Dockyard last year. This year’s theme, ‘Yappy Birthday’, celebrates PadsPass founder Lauren’s 40th birthday. Attendees are encouraged to dress their dogs in birthday-inspired costumes to mark the occasion.
“Free Entry! Enjoy treats for humans and dogs, plus the excitement of the costume parade.
“Want to compete for the crown? Purchase a competition ticket – all proceeds benefit the SPCA.”
