Bermuda Is Love ‘Revolutionary Love’ Campaign
This February, Bermuda Is Love has launched the #RevolutionaryLove Campaign, an “urgent call to action for individuals, communities, and institutions to embrace love as a radical, transformative force capable of reshaping our world.”
A spokesperson said, “Grounded in the belief that all revolutions are rooted in love, this campaign envisions a global movement to build systems, cultures, and relationships centered on care, justice, and equity.
“At a time when division, inequality, and environmental destruction dominate headlines, the #RevolutionaryLove Campaign challenges the status quo by redefining love—not as a passive or private emotion, but as an active, revolutionary force.
“Bermuda Is Love envisions a society where love is not relegated to personal relationships but serves as a radical commitment to care for one another, confront injustice, and build a world where every individual’s basic needs are met. We envision a transformed world where love is not merely an emotion but a conscious action—an everyday choice practiced through care, kindness, commitment, and responsibility to others.
“We invite people everywhere to imagine, create, and celebrate a world in which love informs every aspect of society: from how we govern and educate to how we care for the planet and one another.
“Love, in its truest form, is justice, driving systemic change to ensure equitable access to necessities such as food, housing, clothing, healthcare, and education. It is a force that demands universal healthcare, honors caregiving, and nurtures the Earth as a living entity.
“Revolutionary love is a tool of liberation, dismantling racism, imperialism, capitalism, patriarchy, and all forms of oppression. It affirms a future rooted in restorative justice, where resources are distributed equitably, and systemic injustices are dismantled.
“This vision embraces global solidarity, uniting communities through shared humanity, celebrating cultural diversity, and rejecting the artificial borders that divide us. Bermuda is Love puts their heart and soul into their outreach. What they do 100% looks and feels like love to me!
This has a lot of energy. Missing in this community is an emphasis on respect. I don’t want to hear we love our teachers,policemen and seniors but what I hear and SEE is disrespect. I’d like to hear we respect them first and that’s why we love them and it shows.

THE GAME of CHESS
The game using pawns having little value in comparison to other game pieces , a game considered by many as a war game of the minds.
Nothing at all to do with romance.
If you play the game of chess you will certainly know what positions pawns occupy and what pawns are used for, say by baiting the trap; being some what sacrificial; to be positioned in front of the on coming headlights as it were; and having very little consequence.
In the real world a facsimile used hypertheticaly as an ideal tool for political persuasion ,may be but not necessarily discarded once the goals have been achieved.
Bermuda biggest problem is our economy an you have heard that a thousand times and yet no bodied does any thing about it, if they do, it is invisible.
Every bodies the greatest loves from the earth is food, the other is sleep in a nice warm comfortable clean bed as Bermuda has both we also have a few nice beaches and get rid of day light saving .
We need more irons in the fire so what is the draw card it is our reputation.
The bacis of asucessfull business is marketing and it is not resting on our laurels.
The forty thieves kept food on their table and my table but many scoffed at them.
Did you know it only take” one grand of salt” ( as saying ) to turn a dogs dinner into a banquet.
Bermuda can be the food capitol of the world. Don’t you all wish it was .
All it takes is a little effort an that is very easy to achieve compare to other destinations , do no not mean codfish an pees and rice with a banana with cold on the side on Sunday morning.
This island has some very good chefs here unfortunately they have the fading dr eam of world proclaim
Gourmet is ok for some not all.
Bermuda has be become a nation of beer dirinkers and finger food eaters.

They messes up covid 19 they opnt the airport door .

Bermuda has to drop the duty on all food our problem here is not us, it is them .
We can not eat sand and cement . what is the court hose really for ?
People to day do not do any thing unless they get showered with money Bermuda did not get built that way .
Bermuda need to make it known that our visitors can come here get treated properly and get a clean bed three or four course dinner / meals prepared by a world renound chef.
I was on a business trip to” no where you want to know about” they did not know how to make a decent salad. in a big hotel.
We need a chef’s conference and competion . JUST DO IT. !

STATISTICAL CALCULATIONS ; TAXATION ; and couple of BROKEN BRIDGES .
THE. DEPT OF ENGINEERING could have had put that ashphalt machine to work every day like a commuter car do / does , it would be working today fixing the “yellow brick road “.
Look out / I mean duck when the bill come in for asphalt .

i am not wishing to belabour all this please alow me to say we could have had some more matching tax releif on food to fight the monster of INFLATION
That has hurt business and still does our people alike,and put a wack wack on our offshore business also .
i also wish that our tax money had not gone to finance other people housing.
Nowadays much of our tax dollars go to overseas lenders. It is called interest payments.
The Bermuda Government has found itself subject to huge loans , loaded with inflations , they did not expect for its capitol expenditures with interest pyments .
I wonder when people are going to realize that a loan is borrowing a large quantity of money from the future.we do not have from that urcertain future being dependant on the economy and your job opportunities .
That could be an unwise game to play because the interest charges escalates the original cost plus increasing comprehensive insurance and maintenance costs.
Inflation has done its damage with in first few weeks of its inception .

if you are at your financial limit this has put a huge toll on every day living expenses.
Our national debt aparantly is claimed to increase the public liability to pay down on $50,000 for each person .
There is considerable risk involved in getting the national debt down to a reasonable level in the first place as the future is not promised.

The Bermuda Government made a conscious decision to borrow billions of dollars. Most (but not all) of those decisions were made between 2004 and 2012. The later decisions to borrow were also conscious decisions, mostly because of the debt created between 2004 and 2012 and the inability to service that debt and provide adequate services to the public.

According to our Government, price inflation in Bermuda has for the most part been lower than that experienced by the U.K., U.S. and Canada over the past 5 years

Election Day is fast approaching and we may presume tha many will be going to the pole for the first time , who have not made their mind up from where the choise has been narrowed down to party of preference or for a spacific candidate whose party has previously vote for.
Their names have appeared on a list, here you will find your self with a decision which amounts to Hobsons Choice.
Moving on to stage two, you are being being asked for simpley your endorsement , now that becomes a hard nut to crack, as some of the candidates are well known to the general public ,other names listed have vague platforms, who may have come out of the phone book.
The battle, it is not a fight is it? but boils down to a situation where, if you do not know the person , just vote for the party, we hear that every 4 years. for many unknown reasons back then, thousands did not go to vote that was not good for the country but people had spoken.
In many cases the sanctity of the vote was ignored based on lost hope and missed trust.
People wanted change back then , as they still do today, the question was for change Change to what ? was it for why ,when ,and how , or just they do not know or don’t care.
however many do know, what they do not want or can not afford the future, because this election is all about money, trust and survival.
From the past we have been left many disappointments with many dots remaining to be connected .
