Bryce Montgomery Has Assist In Bison Defeat
Bryce Montgomery recorded an assist in Bloomington Bison’s 5-2 defeat at home to Toledo Walleye in the ECHL yesterday [February 16].
Montgomery, who has been assigned to the Bison by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Carolina Hurricanes, created a goal for Maxim Barbashev.
The Bison, founded last year, are making their debut in the ECHL this season.
Montgomery, a 6ft 5in 231-pound defenceman, was drafted by the Hurricanes in the sixth round NHL Entry Draft in 2021.
His younger brother, Blake Montgomery, was drafted by NHL team the Ottawa Senators in June last year.
Blake currently plays for the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League [OHL].
