Jasmine Spence Helps Team Reach Final
Bermudian footballer Jasmine Spence has helped Newport Pagnell Town Women reach the final of the Berks and Bucks FA Women’s Senior Cup final.
Newport Pagnell Town will face Maidenhead United in the final at Beaconsfield Town FC on Saturday, March 16.
Spence and her team-mates defeated Chesham United, who play several divisions above in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East, 2-0 in the semi-final at the weekend.
Maidenhead play in the FA Women’s National League Division One South West.
“[The] women’s first team with another historic win, this time beating National League side Chesham United 2-0 in the Berks and Buck Senior Cup semi-final, setting up a final against another high-flying team in Maidenhead United on March 16, a day which is sure to be another momentous occasion for the club and Town,” the club wrote on social media.
Newport Pagnell Town are seventh in the East Midlands Women’s Regional League Division One South, with Spence scoring five goals in 11 matches this season.
