Erica Hawley Set For New Zealand Triathlon
Erica Hawley is set to compete in her first triathlon since representing Bermuda at the Olympic Games last summer.
The 26-year-old, who placed 41st in Paris, will be among 27 elite women racing in the World Triathlon Cup Napier in New Zealand today [February 22].
Currently ranked just inside the world’s top 100, Hawley is the fourteenth highest-rated athlete in the field.
The elite competitors will face the challenging waters of Ahuriri beach, before biking the fast, flat Napier coast, finishing running down the blue carpet towards the finish line.
