Xtreme Sports Games To Be Held On May 17
Xtreme Sports Games will be held on May 17, bringing corporate teams together for a day of unconventional challenges, team building, and charitable giving.
A spokesperson said, “Xtreme Sports Games, the award-winning corporate fun day will return for its 8th edition in 2025. The event, hosted by local company Xtreme Sports Ltd., will be held on May 17th, 2025 at the National Sports Center, North Field. The Xtreme Sports Games features a fun-filled day where various local companies compete against each other in a variety of sports and activities.
“The twist is that most of the sports and activities are unconventional, such as ladder racing human hungry hippos, slip-n-slide races and hamster racing, to name a few. In addition to a day of team building, another important element of the Xtreme Sports Games is that each company is required to select a local charity or not-for-profit organization to support, which will receive prize money if the company that selected them places in the top three.
“Last year’s games saw forty-four companies compete in an enthralling day, with Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service and Sirius Point sharing the first-place spot, supporting The Family Center and SPCA, respectively. Adding to the excitement was the fact that Bermuda Fire & Rescue and Sirius Point were first time participants in the 2024 event, narrowly edging out long-time participants BELCO [3rd] and City Of Hamilton [4th].
“This year, the event organizers are planning for an even more successful, exciting, fun-filled day, and with the hopes of a record number of teams and participants. The event has continued to grow from strength to strength from its 1st edition in 2016 and is now a staple event in the community’s calendar.
“Registration for the event is currently open and there are only three remaining spots left. The registration deadline is Friday, March 21st 2025. Companies are encouraged to complete the registration form as soon as possible to secure their spot and avoid disappointment.
