Ariel Re Announces Employee Promotions
Ariel Re has promoted nine employees across its London and Bermuda offices, reinforcing its commitment to talent development as an ‘academy firm.’
A spokesperson said, “Ariel Re, a global reinsurance business with offices in Bermuda, London and Hong Kong, has announced today it has promoted nine employees in its London and Bermuda offices.
“Ariel Re has become an ‘academy firm’: a place for ambitious [re]insurance professionals to learn and develop their careers. This year’s promotions cover a range of roles and departments, including underwriting, portfolio management, IT, and actuarial.”
“These promotions demonstrate Ariel Re’s approach to nurturing talent within the business,” said Lindsay Hyland, Head of Human Resources. “As part of our ‘academy firm’ approach, its vital we celebrate, support, and invest in the personnel at Ariel Re, and these appointments stand as a testament to that.”

- Ihab Khalil – Chief Information Officer
- JayLynn Hines – AVP – Underwriter, Cyber
- Mohammed Ibrahim – Senior Actuarial Analyst
- Rahul Choudhry – Software Developer
- Tom Orton – VP – Property Underwriter
- Veronica King – SVP – Underwriter, Property
“Ihab Khalil also joins the Ariel Re Bermuda Leadership Team after being promoted from Senior Vice-President – Portfolio Management, to Chief Information Officer.”
