Nahki Wells In Line To Face Sheffield Today
Nahki Wells is in line for a recall when Bristol City face Sheffield United away in the Sky Bet Championship today [March 11].
Chris Hogg, the City assistant coach, has told the Bristol Post that they are hopeful Wells will return to the matchday squad to face United, having missed the past two matches because of injury.
Hogg said the Bermuda striker had trained before City’s 1-1 draw at home against Hull City at the weekend.
“Yeah hopeful,” Hogg said when asked if Wells was likely to return at Bramall Lane. “Hopefully that should be happening.
“He’s done another little session this morning so he’ll be back in training on Monday and will be good to go hopefully.”
City are seventh in the table, two points behind sixth-place West Bromwich Albion.
