Blake Montgomery Helps Knights Reach Finals
Ice hockey player Blake Montgomery helped the London Knights reach the Western Conference finals after beating the Erie Otters 4-3 in overtime in Game Four of the semi-finals on Friday [April 18].
The Knights won the series 4-0.
Montgomery has been in fine form since joining the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement in November last year.
Drafted by National Hockey League team the Ottawa Senators in June last year, Montgomery spent the previous two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
The Knights finished top of the Western Conference, having won 55 of their 66 matches.
