Alexcie Burrows Leads Virginia State To Victory
Alexcie Burrows played a pivotal role as her Virginia State University [VSU] women’s tennis teammates secured a 7-0 victory over the Panthers of Virginia Union.
VSU demonstrated their superiority in the contest, delivering a clean sweep against their opponents. Burrows’s contributions in both doubles and singles were instrumental to VSU’s dominant performance.
In the doubles competition, Burrows partnered with Ginger Johnson in the number two spot. The duo showcased excellent teamwork and tactical awareness, securing a convincing 6-1 victory over Virginia Union’s Ga’Leisha Miller and Andrea Sanjurjo.
Burrows continued her strong performance in the singles competition. Playing in the number four spot, she achieved an efficient 6-1, 6-1 victory over Miller.
