Vieira And Rodrigues Impress For Eckerd
Bermudians Jordan Vieira and Paul Rodrigues Jr helped the Eckerd College Open Sailing team finish fourth at the recent SAISA Open Team Race Championship.
The University of Charleston, who won the championship, hosted the event, which featured 15-20 knot winds.
Eckerd College’s team consisted of skippers Vieira, Rodrigues Jr, and Carter Morin, and crews Tia Soultanakis, Lily Schwartz, and Avery Guck.
They finished the championship with an overall record of seven wins and eight losses.
