Alexcie Burrows Wins Two Matches For VSU
The Virginia State University [VSU] women’s tennis team, which includes Bermudian player Alexcie Burrows, recorded a decisive 6-1 victory over Elizabeth City State University.
Burrows contributed to the VSU win with successes in both doubles and singles competition. In doubles play, Burrows and teammate Ginger Johnson secured a victory by default.
Burrows later competed in the number four singles match, defeating Nyla Barnes 6-0, 6-1. Her singles performance further contributed to Virginia State University’s overall victory.
