Kempe & Penruddocke Continue In Hyères
Bermuda sailors Sebastian Kempe and Adriana Penruddocke experienced a challenging fifth day at the 56th French Olympic Week in Hyères on Friday. Competing against a strong international field, both sailors faced difficult conditions in their respective fleets.
In the ILCA 7 division, Kempe participated in a single race but incurred a U-Flag Disqualification [UFD] for starting prematurely. This penalty resulted in a maximum point score for the race, causing Kempe to fall from 11th to 15th place overall with a net score of 123 points.
Penruddocke, competing in the ILCA 6 fleet, also saw only one race contested. Finishing in 36th position, she dropped from 24th to 26th overall at the regatta’s conclusion, recording a net score of 122 points.
