Mia Fishel And Chelsea Win League Title
Footballer Mia Fishel has helped Chelsea Women claim their sixth successive Women’s Super League title.
Chelsea beat Manchester United 1-0 away yesterday [April 30] thanks to a goal by Lucy Bronze in the second half.
Fishel, whose father is Bermudian, scored her first goal since recovering from a serious knee injury in Chelsea Women’s 4-0 win at home to Crystal Palace Women in the league last week.
The 23-year-old, who signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2023, underwent knee surgery in March last year after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury while training with the United States women’s national team.
