Video: Jack Harvey Wins CAC Games Silver
Jack Harvey has claimed his second medal for Bermuda at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Harvey won silver in the 100 metres backstroke A final in 54.56sec, adding to the bronze he claimed in the 50 backstroke A final.
The 23-year-old, who also competed at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, came second in his heat earlier in the day in 55.70.
Harvey, who will race in the 200 backstroke heats tomorrow, told Bernews: “I’m super happy to win the silver medal.
“Coming off yesterday and winning the bronze, I knew it was going to be a dogfight in the 100.
“I wanted to go easy on the way out and try and finish strong.
“I was happy I was able to execute my race.”
