Hawley Finishes 28th In Yokohama Triathlon
Bermudian triathlete Erica Hawley finished 28th at the 2025 World Triathlon Championship Series event in Yokohama.
Battling demanding, rainy conditions that made the 40-kilometer bike course particularly hazardous, Hawley completed the Olympic-distance course in 1 hour, 55 minutes, and 37 seconds.
Jeanne Lehair secured the victory with a winning time of 1 hour, 51 minutes, and 33 seconds, placing Hawley 4 minutes and 3 seconds behind the leader.
Hawley began the race with a 1.5-kilometer swim, finishing in 19 minutes and 58 seconds. She then navigated the slippery 40-kilometer bike leg in 56 minutes and 52 seconds, and concluded the event with a 10-kilometer run, crossing the finish line in 37 minutes and 34 seconds.
