Hollis & Stenhousemuir Win In Season Opener
Dennico Hollis celebrated a resounding victory with his LOC Hire Stenhousemuir Cricket Club in Scotland. They began their Western Premiership One Division campaign with a comprehensive 138-run win over M8 Driving Ferguslie.
Stenhousemuir posted an imposing 300 for 7 in their 50 overs, thanks to centuries from Yaseen Valli and Zander Smith. Ettiene Jewell was the pick of the Ferguslie bowlers with three wickets.
Ferguslie struggled in their reply and were eventually bowled out for 162. Taimoor Ahmad top-scored with 37, but Manas Sahare was the star with the ball for Stenhousemuir, taking three wickets for just 10 runs.
