Basketball Team For Dominican Republic Tour
The Bermuda Basketball Association has announced the Senior Men’s National Team for the upcoming development tour in the Dominican Republic.
A spokesperson said, “The BBA’s Sr. Men’s National team Program is about to begin it’s 4th annual Development tour in the Dominican Republic. The BBA continues their strong, ongoing relationship with the Dominican Republic Basketball Federation [FEDOMBAL] which is currently ranked 18th in the world and 6th in FIBA Americas.
“The Select team has been able to secure games against 2 club teams, their Jr. Men’s U19 team and a team from their U22 Men’s league. The Sr. Men’s program itself has progressively gotten younger and bigger and it will be interesting to see what this team can do in the days to come. The end result is to form our best team to date and be invited to participate in the FIBA AmeriCup pre-qualifying tournament in July 2026.”
