The Bermuda Football Association’s Under-23 league season resumed with a doubleheader at BAA Field.
Robin Hood 3 PHC Zebras 0
Robin Hood defeated the PHC Zebras 3-0. Chance Eve scored for Robin Hood in the 43rd minute, giving them a 1-0 lead at halftime. Eve scored again in the 56th minute. Bakari Furbert secured the 3-0 victory with a goal in the 76th minute.
Somerset Eagles 3 Somerset Trojans 1
The Somerset Eagles defeated the Somerset Trojans 3-1. The first half was scoreless. Rio Russell scored for the Somerset Trojans from a penalty kick in the 54th minute, putting them ahead 1-0. The Somerset Eagles then equalized in the 60th minute with a goal from Arnezha Astwood. Tyler Emery scored in the 68th minute, giving the Eagles a 2-1 lead. An own goal in the 72nd minute extended the Somerset Eagles’ lead to 3-1, securing their win.
