Softball: Beers, Brewers & Hakuna Matata Win
The Bermuda Softball League continued its season with three high-scoring games at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond, totaling 95 runs across the triple-header.
In the first game, Bad News Beers defeated Team Smokey 23-5. Conor Lohan led Bad News Beers, going 4 for 4 with a home run and six RBIs. Rico Smith of Team Smokey went 3 for 3 with a double, a home run, and two RBIs.
The Moongate Brewers secured a 23-10 victory over the Kings in the second contest. Gary Adams contributed two home runs and seven RBIs for the Brewers, going 4 for 5. A player for the Kings hit a home run and drove in three runs.
In the final game, Hakuna Matata defeated the Beach Bums 27-7. Brian Hall of Hakuna Matata went 5 for 5, including a double, two home runs, and eight RBIs. Donald Folkard hit a home run and had one RBI for the Beach Bums.
