Cycling: Nicholas Narraway Competes In Spain
Bermudian cyclist Nicholas Narraway is competing in the Vuelta a Castilla y León in Spain, riding for Tenerife-BikePoint-LaSedeBycicles in the UCI Europe Tour event.
The race opened with a 3.8-kilometre individual time trial in Salamanca, where Narraway placed 20th with a time of 5 minutes and 17 seconds in a tightly contested prologue.
He continued his efforts in the first stage of the tour, a demanding 137.0-kilometre road race from El Barco de Ávila to Ciudad Rodrigo, finishing in 3 hours, 31 minutes, and 49 seconds to place 49th in a strong international field.
