Deniche Hill Joins Buxton Football Club In UK
Bermuda national team footballer Deniche Hill has signed for English non-League side Buxton.
He joins compatriot Keziah Martin at the Vanarama National League North club.
Both players featured in a 1-1 draw at home to Bury in a pre-season friendly yesterday [July 19].
“We are delighted to welcome Deniche Hill as our latest summer signing,” read a post on Buxton’s social media.
“The 21-year-old Bermudian international joins us after leaving Leicester City at the end of last season.
“Deniche, a versatile wide player, will be familiar to some having appeared at left wing-back during our pre-season campaign so far. Let’s go, Deniche!”
Hill made his Bermuda debut against Haiti at home in the Concacaf Nations League in June 2022.
The defender studied at Brooke House College in Leicestershire before impressing on trial for Leicester under-21.
He was offered a pro contract at Leicester at the start of the 2022-23 season.
We watched Deniche play against Bury and his effort and skill shone out. He is very welcome in Buxton, where the weather is markedly different from Bermuda. We would love to welcome Bermudians to Buxton, bring a brolly!!
