Raleigh Bermuda Youth Begin Global Mission
Raleigh Bermuda celebrates four young Bermudians – A’Vari Raynor-Hall, Keanu Trott-Codrington, Yari Mello and Azariah Greaves – who have completed local training and are now embarking on a 10-week global expedition to Costa Rica.
A spokesperson said, “Raleigh Bermuda proudly celebrates four courageous young Bermudians – A’Vari Raynor-Hall, age 21; Keanu Trott-Codrington, age 20; Yari Mello, age 18; and Azariah Greaves, age 18 — who have completed all local training, assessments, and programme requirements, and are now representing Bermuda globally on a 10-week expedition to Costa Rica.
“On June 29, 2025, these Venturers departed Bermuda to engage in projects focused on environmental sustainability, such as ecological studies in the rainforests, and community developments, including school construction and service with indigenous populations. They will also experience life-changing adventures trekking jungles and climbing mountains—building resilience, survival skills, and global awareness.
“Each student was awarded the Raleigh Bermuda Scholarship—valued at $20,000 per participant—covering the full cost of our year-long programme including international expedition fees, travel, gear, training, vaccinations, and support.
“We express heartfelt thanks to our community of donors, whose generosity makes this programme possible, and extend special appreciation to the families, guardians, Raleigh Alumni, the Raleigh Parent Support Group and community partners: Parks Department, Pathways Bermuda, Pilot Gig Club, Tuckers Transportation, and The Royal Bermuda Regiment Coast Guard, who have been cheerleaders throughout the local training process.
“A special thanks goes to the hardworking Raleigh Team:
- Ms. Keri Pacheco, Programme Coordinator
- Ms. Kaywell Outerbridge, Board Member & Parent Liaison Official
- Mr. Vernon Simons, Project Manager
- Mr. Juvonne Cann, Project Manager
- Mr. Matthias Lawrence, Project Manager
“Their leadership, mentorship, and unwavering support are the backbone of our youth’s success.
“The Raleigh Bermuda Venturers Scholarship Programme envisions a Bermuda where young people are inspired to rise above limitations, believe in their potential, and join a global community of change-makers.
“Our Venturers return on September 2, 2025—equipped as global leaders, environmentalists, and survivalists ready to impact Bermuda and the world.
