Phillips Competes In M15 Monastir Doubles
Bermudian tennis player Daniel Phillips returned to competition at the M15 Monastir ITF International Tennis Tournament, entering the doubles draw alongside Spain’s Bernardo Munk Mesa.
The pair faced Tunisia’s Wissam Abderrahman and Alaa Trifi in the opening round and were defeated in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.
The early exit ends Phillips’ doubles campaign for the week, but the tournament adds to his growing experience on the international circuit as he continues to pursue a higher ITF ranking.
