Air Canada Flights Cancelled Today
Skyport has advised that Air Canada flights today [August 18] have been cancelled due to the labour disruptions which are affecting Air Canada flights worldwide.
Bermuda Skyport said, “Skyport has been informed that the Air Canada flights to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport [YYZ] tomorrow, Monday 18 August, have been cancelled due to labour disruptions.
“Passengers booked on these flights should have received communications directly from the airline about alternate arrangements. We encourage Air Canada passengers over the coming days to reach out to the airline for more information.”
“The strike, which started early Saturday over pay and scheduling disputes, has already grounded roughly 700 flights a day, stranding an estimated 100,000 travelers during peak summer season,” NBC reports.
