In England’s FA Women’s Premier League Premier Division North, Kenni Thompson provided a match-winning assist for Bournemouth Women’s FC. With the game scoreless, Thompson delivered a cross in the 90th minute that was converted by teammate Kelci Bowers to secure a 1-0 victory.
Keunna Dill and FC United of Manchester Women won their home opener 2-1 against Darwen FC Ladies in the North West Women’s Regional League.
In the FA Women’s National League Division One South West, Camryn Lines and Bridgwater United Women FC played to a 0-0 draw against Bristol Rovers Women.
Goalkeeper coach Dashun Cooper’s QPR Women’s team lost 2-0 to Norwich City Women FC in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East.
In the same division, K’Shaela Burch Waldron and Sutton United Women fell 2-0 to Dartford FC Women.
Stateside, Nia Christopher and Fort Lauderdale United FC battled to a 3-3 draw with Lexington Sporting Club Women in the USL Super League.
Mia Fishel’s Seattle Reign also earned a point, drawing 1-1 with the Houston Dash in the NWSL.
In the USL Championship, Rhode Island FC, managed by Khano Smith, was defeated 3-0 by Hartford Athletic.
