BCCL Celebrates 10 Years Of Learning
The Bermuda Centre for Creative Learning [BCCL] is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
A spokesperson said, “As BCCL celebrates its 10th year anniversary, Georgia, the beloved comfort dog for BCCL, was at Victoria Park ready to greet all our returning students and was excited to see all our new students as well.
“This year, as the Bermuda Centre for Creative Learning [BCCL] celebrates its 10th anniversary, we are proud of the steps taken to further our mission: to empower students by providing a personalized and flexible learning environment that focuses on their social, emotional and academic needs.
“As the only school in Bermuda dedicated exclusively to students who learn differently, we are committed to innovating for impact, constantly finding cutting-edge and evidence-based ways to support our students.
“What started in 2015 with 11 students and a dream has grown into a community of 58 learners ages 6-15, and from September 2025, ages 4-18, with a team of 20 dedicated educators committed to personalized, evidence-based education and countless families whose educational journeys have been transformed.
“BCCL kicked off their Secondary School Program with a flexible, mastery-based Years 10–13 curriculum in partnership with the Christa McAuliffe Academy of Arts and Science, CMASAS, leading to a globally recognized U.S. high school diploma. This program was designed for students who thrive in personalized settings or need flexible learning to pursue other interests such as sports, music or drama.
“We believe this creates an opportunity for parents to keep their children on the island as opposed to sending them off-island to meet their unique learning needs in the upper years.
“As part of the 10th year celebrations, BCCL is also introducing a Reception Year Program for September 2026 following the International Early Years curriculum, as getting a head start and early intervention is essential.”
