“Gratitude & Celebration Banquet” On Sept 27
The FrayStar Cricket Institute will host its Gratitude & Celebration Banquet on Saturday, September 27 at 7.00pm at The Berkeley Institute.
A spokesperson said, “In every community, there are moments when gratitude deserves the spotlight—when the people, the stories, and the shared sacrifices are gathered together to be honored. For FrayStar Cricket Institute, that moment has arrived. With discipline as its heartbeat and development as its promise, FrayStar will pause from the cricket field to host a Gratitude & Celebration Banquet—an evening not just for cricketers, but for everyone who believes in nurturing the next generation with values that transcend sport.
A Program Built on Discipline and Development
“Since its founding, FrayStar has been more than a cricket program. It has become a space where young people learn responsibility, respect, and resilience, guided by a coaching and administrative team widely regarded as one of the most successful in Bermuda.”
“FrayStar is not just about cricket—it’s about building character, respect, and responsibility in our youth,” said Founder Terry Fray. “We want this banquet to celebrate not only the sport but the values that will carry these young people through life.”
An Evening of Reflection and Inspiration
The spokesperson said, “The banquet promises to be an evening of heartfelt reflection and joyful celebration. Guests will hear from Mr. Fray, Mr. Gus Logie and be inspired by a special guest speaker, also witness the stories of players who have grown not only as athletes but as individuals through their FrayStar journey.”
One player described the program this way: “At FrayStar I’ve learned discipline, time management, and respect. Cricket is the tool, but the lessons go far beyond the field.”
The spokesperson said, “Parents, too, have witnessed the transformation. “It’s rare to find a program that pushes children in sports while also insisting on discipline and academics. FrayStar is unique,” shared one parent supporter.
