Hockey Set To Launch Junior Programme
The Bermuda Hockey Federation is set to launch its junior programme, FunStix, for boys and girls aged 5 to 11.
The winter term sessions will be held at the National Sports Centre on Saturdays from September 13 to December 13.
Meanwhile, the spring term sessions will be from January 10 to March 21.
Group one will be for players aged 5 to 7 years, and Group two will be for youngsters aged 8 to 11 years.
“Whether you’re picking up a stick for the very first time or building on the skills you’ve already learned, FunStix is the perfect place to grow in the sport of field hockey,” the Bermuda Hockey Federation said.
Players will learn the fundamentals of the game, build teamwork and confidence, and develop coordination, fitness, and strategy.
“Come be part of the excitement and grow both on and off the field!” the BHF added.
