Breast Cancer Awareness Walk Traffic Advisory

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has announced temporary parking restrictions and traffic controls for the 29th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Wednesday, October 15.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the public of temporary parking restrictions and traffic controls to accommodate the 29th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, scheduled for Wednesday, 15 October 2025.

“To facilitate this event, parking bays along Barr’s Bay Park on Front Street will be closed to the public from 7:00 a.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m.

“The walk will begin at 4:30 p.m. from Barr’s Bay Park and conclude around 7:30 p.m. Participants will follow a designated route through the City of Hamilton, under the direction of Road Marshals. No road closures are planned; however, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and follow instructions from marshals to ensure the safety of all participants.”
