Tajer Basden Helps JCSU To Fourth Place
Bermudian runner Tajer Basden helped the Johnson C. Smith University [JCSU] Men’s Cross Country team secure a fourth-place finish at the Livingstone Invitational.
Basden was the third JCSU runner to complete the 8-kilometer course. He placed twenty-first overall with a time of 35 minutes, 24.9 seconds.
The JCSU Golden Bulls recorded a total team time of 2 hours, 54 minutes, 46 seconds [2:54:46], averaging 34:57 per runner. JCSU finished fourth, trailing the host Livingstone College, Winston-Salem State, and Guilford.
Livingstone College claimed the men’s team title with a winning score of 28.
