Online Charity Auction For Opti Sailors
The Bermuda Optimist Dinghy Association is hosting an online charity auction to raise funds for its youth sailing programmes, which introduce children aged 5 to 15 to the sport.
A registered charity, the BODA relies entirely on donations and volunteer support to run its programmes.
The auction will culminate on October 18 at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club at 6pm, where the Sailor of the Year will be announced.
Bidders do not need to attend in person; winners will be contacted after the event.
Featured auction items include an original artwork by Jonah Jones with bids at $1,200, a Florida boat show package including two BermudAir flights and access to one of three premier 2026 boat shows [bidding currently at $250], and Waszp foiling training sessions with instructor Rachel Betschart [current bids $190].
A sunset cruise aboard the vessel Zara for up to 50 guests is also available.
The online auction runs through 8pm on October 18 at 32auctions.com.
