Bermuda national team footballer Jutorre Burgess faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury during Harborough Town’s recent FA Trophy win over AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The 19-year-old winger confirmed the news on social media after receiving his scan results, revealing he has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament [ACL].
“I am extremely distraught,” Burgess wrote. “I know I will be out for a while, but I will do my all to come back stronger”.
