Hockey: Alexandra Mosher & BDA Spirits Win
The Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League completed a series of make-up games from the first half of the season, resulting in notable changes to the standings.
Positive Image Dental 5, Alexandra Mosher 7
Fourth-placed Alexandra Mosher defeated Positive Image Dental 7-5.
After a slow start that saw only Darren Maksymetz score for Mosher in the opening period, the second period saw the game open up. Mosher struck twice more through Matt Mcphail and Moad Fahmi, while Positive Image Dental remained competitive with a pair of goals from league-leading scorer Louis Sujir and one from Chris Allington.
The final period featured multiple goals, including one from Sujir, but Mosher’s depth proved decisive. Shannon Gosse, Mike Brennan, and Eddie Goddard scored late goals to secure the win, handing the league leaders a rare defeat.

BDA Spirits edged Hamilton Princess 1-0 in a defensive showdown.
Jeffrey Ingelman scored early in the first period, which proved to be the only goal of the match. Despite strong pressure from Hamilton Princess in the remaining periods, BDA Spirits maintained a disciplined defensive performance to record the shutout. The result leaves Hamilton Princess four points behind the league leaders.
