Scott Barnes Competes In Florida Winter Tour
Bermudian kart driver Scott Barnes competed in the ROK Shifter Masters division at the 28th annual Florida Winter Tour held at the Orlando Kart Center. Representing Maranello Karts USA, Barnes participated in practice sessions, qualifying, and the opening heat of the event.
During the Friday morning practice session involving the combined Shifter Masters and Super Master field, Barnes recorded a time of [5:53.02]. Later in the day, during the final practice session, he recorded a lap time of [52.61].
In the qualifying round, Barnes secured the second starting position on the grid. He registered an eight-lap cumulative time of [7:25.24]. Barnes concluded the initial stage of competition by finishing first in Heat 1, completing the 13-lap race with a total time of [11:32.12].
