Two Car Collision In Southampton On January 15
A two-vehicle collision occurred on Thursday [Jan 15] on Middle Road in Southampton, near the junction with Church Road.
A police spokesperson said, “A two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:25pm Thursday, 15th January 2026, on Middle Road in Southampton, near the junction with Church Road.
“Apparently, both cars were being driven in the eastbound lane of Middle Road when the driver of the car in front slowed to make a right turn into a driveway and was struck from behind by the driver of the other car.
“The drivers, believed to be a 39-year-old Southampton man and a 63-year-old Paget woman respectively, were not hurt.
“However, it is understood that the Paget woman had a health related episode just prior to the collision and as a result, she was transported from the scene to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, for medical assessment.
“Both cars involved were damaged and traffic in the area was delayed for approximately 20 minutes.
“Any witnesses are asked to call 211.”
