Karate Dojo Hosts Kite Making Night
Tabata-Ha Shotokan Karate-Do Bermuda hosted their annual Kite Making Evening at their Bailey’s Bay dojo on March 28.
A spokesperson said, “Tabata-Ha Shotokan Karate-Do Bermuda held their annual Kite Making Evening on Saturday, March 28, and what a fantastic time it was.
“At our dojo in Bailey’s Bay, we believe in keeping the beautiful tradition of Bermuda kite making alive, and it was wonderful to see so many children and parents come together to create their own colourful kites. A special thank you to the gentleman from the IDC [The Independent Club] for providing the strung frames and guiding everyone through the process with such patience and skill. The creativity, teamwork, and joy in the room truly reflected the spirit of our karate family.
“Now, let’s go fly a kite.”
