Three Bermudian Sailors Compete In France

Bermudian sailors Sebastian Kempe, Campbell Patton, and Adriana Penruddocke competed in light wind conditions during the second day of racing at the French Olympic Week, which serves as the second event of the Sailing Grand Slam series.

Campbell Patton remains the highest-placed Bermudian in the ILCA 7 fleet, holding 33rd position overall with 37 net points. Patton recorded finishes of 16th and 9th in his two races.

Sebastian Kempe advanced 58 places in the standings to end the session in 41st overall. Competing in the same fleet, Kempe finished 19th in the opening race and 13th in the second, bringing his net points total to 43.

In the ILCA 6 fleet, Olympian Adriana Penruddocke dropped 10 places to 47th overall. Penruddocke recorded finishes of 13th, 26th, and 25th, resulting in a total of 76 net points.
