Police Appeal After Pembroke Shooting

Police confirmed that a man shot multiple times on St. Monica’s Road in Pembroke Thursday night sustained non-life-threatening injuries, as the Bermuda Police Service continues its investigation and appeals for witnesses and CCTV footage.

A police spokesperson said, “The injuries sustained by the male, shot multiple times, while in the area of St. Monica’s Road, Pembroke, around 10:35 p.m on Thursday ,April 2, 2026, have been deemed non-life-threatening.

“As the investigation continues, the Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is renewing its appeal for anyone with information on this on this incident, to come forward and make contact with us.

“The investigating officer, Acting Detective Inspector [ADI] Anneka Donawa can be reached on 717-2240 or via email, adonawaw@bps.bm.

“We are interested in speaking with persons who may have seen any suspicious individuals, or activity, in the area of St. Monica’s Road prior to, or shortly after the shooting.

“Those residents with CCTV cameras are asked to check these devices for any such activity and reach out to ADI Donawa.
